Blog No. 9: Liscence Plates

Today's errands involved waiting in line at the DMV, but not for what you think. We went in because my mom recieved liscence plates for the new T&C last week, but she did not like them because they had the letters 'F' and 'R,' with a letter 'K' in the middle of it. My mom was all freakin' out because it is remarkably similar to what she would consider as a text version of a profanity word. So the rest of us basically laughed about it for a week. It was unanimous that my mom kept these plates with my sister's and aunt's co-workers, but no. We waited for half an hour to replace these plates. At least they waived the fee for the replacement.

You know it was just recently that my mom made copies of my car's insurance. It's sitting right in front of me right now. Taunting me.

We had taken the Malibu too. Just to be safe because the T&C did not have the plates attached yet...

COME ON. I'm AT the DMV. Proof of liscence and registration within grasping distance. Liscenced driver willing to wait thirty minutes in line to replace seemingly offensive plates. A set of Malibu keys in my possession. I felt so close to that liscence I could've inhale the laminated plastic in my hand!

So we wait, yet again, for the stupid liscence...

It's eating me up inside.

*sigh*

I'm not thinking about it...

Santa Cruz in two days!

... Still not thinking about it...
