Blog No. 107: Twitter

http://twitter.com/rabbiman

It's official. I'm tweeting on the internet. XP

You may ask why I'm on Twitter.

...

I have NO idea what I'm doing on Twitter.

There's really no point to Twitter in the least. NONE! I mean, you can't really do anything on it except type in what you're doing. That's it! It's pretty much an overglorified Myspace/Facebook. It's just updating and finding other profiles to follow so that you can read their updates. Sure, it might be helpful if say Anberlin is doing a secret concert closeby and they update it on Twitter, or something like that. But I don't have any general need to use it.

I guess I could use it to spread the word about my blog, if anyone really pays attention to this Twitter stuff.

Geez...

~~~
My Question:
Would/have you create(d) a Twitter account?
~~~

So yeah. Twitter. XP

The Morning After

Blog No. 106: The Morning After

The sleepover was great. Got to meet Aryn (Taka's friend) and Yowty (Taka's younger brother). Got to eat junk food, play video games, and hang out with people outside of school.

The morning after these festivities happened to be a school day. So we all one by one woke up at 8 AM to get ready. Instead of taking a shower, I do what I always did over at sleepovers and SUPAH LONG school days, use a pack of face wipes over my body. It's a way of getting clean, isn't it? Hey it works! :D

Liz had to go do a test, Taka and Abril to Human Sexuality, and Dustin to make up his Swimming class, so they all left first. Then I packed my Wii and "sleeping bag" and whatnot to my over night bag, and left it in Taka's room with my arrows and clarinet.

Then Tom drove Piper and I to Choir, which wasn't to sucky until we had to sing through Placido E Il Mar with new sheet music. It would've helped to had that music from the start. DX

Then we retired to the cafeteria to wait for Parkarr. Piper, Dustin, and I ate lunch while Taka went on King's computer.

When Dustin left, Parkarr came, so we left back to Taka's house. Piper, Parkarr, and I just sat on the couch and watched TV while Taka made asian food. Then apparently I fell asleep on the couch because when I looked up at the clock it was 15 minutes until Italian and the TV went from gay Batman to Perry the Platipus. XP

We were a little late to Italian, only because we parked at the other parking lot by the football statdium, which the distance from Parkarr's car and Davies Hall was pretty far. Granted it my have not been as far as from the usual parking lot to Davies, but still a long way to carry all of my belongings from two days. I'm such a packrat. XP

And yeah, the rest of the day was lost due to sleep! XD

~~~
My Question:
What was the longest time you went without sleep and what were you doing during your NOT sleep?
~~~

OK now I am caught up with my blogs! Please also read Blog 104 and 105 along with this one because they were all posted together. XP

WAHHH Games Sleepover

Blog No. 105: Sleepover at Taka's

(Posted 1 day late)

These are the days I love the most. XD

Taka, Piper, and I decided to have a sleepover just to hang out outside of the confines of ARC. So we invited Abril, Dictator Roze, Parkarr, Dustin, and Aryn over to Taka's place for a night of fun.

That day started after Concert Band, where a CBS 13 truck pulled into the metered parking near the music building. The news anchor, Mike Dello Stritto, came up to us on Magpie Hill and asked to do interviews with us concerning the status of the ARC student association, (basically a rematch of the gays VS. the christians). Darius came by, only when he saw the news camera and microphone pointed at us. Abril was trying not to say the "A" word on camera. Abril also asked if the microphone the news reporter was using was a prop or not. He was apparently amazed by that question, which probably explains why she got the air time.

Darius got interviewed too, but they only ended up filming his back, with me facing him (lawl). Then the blonde Bowler Hat Guy, who was kind of a snobby clarinet player, came by also and introduced himself as the elections coordinator or something, obviously wanting some TV time too. XP

Parkarr finally came to pick us up, after having to call 9 times to get him to answer his phone. Picked up some grape soda and some Parker's brand root beer for the hell of it. Then we went over to Taka's house to start the festivities. Piper and Tom arrived with pizzas and crazy bread from Little Caesars. We played some Super Smash Bros. Brawl on my Wii on the LARGE big screen TV while we waited for Dictator Roze, Aryn, and Dustin to arrive. The girls (minus Aryn) were baking cupcakes and making banana splits.

We sat in a huge-ish circle on the ground to play yet another game of Liz's Game. We had a crazy time with that. Yowty was super descriptive on his sentences and didn't really understand some of our inside jokes, like what Dustin Calves meant, or the origins of my nickname. During that game, we turned up the TV for the news on CBS. They edited a bunch, and I only got on the TV for like 5 seconds. Nothing to marvel at or anything.

Once the cupcakes were done, we sat at the table frosting them. Piper apparently made her cupcake the site of dead, bleeding, fish. I made an Abril cupcake, which was basically chocolate frosting with a white frosting face. XP
Taka drew herself:

Which kinda puts all of our other cupcakes to shame. XD

Tom brought Apples to Apples, which was also very fun. Piper brought HexHex, which is very fun if you didn't have to explain it to 7 half awake people.

Then Piper put on Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, which was a pretty awesome movie, minus the parts where I had to walk out and hide from the puking scene. Dustin kinda fell asleep in the middle, so Taka went over and drew something on Dustin's foot. XP
Then Piper put on Juno. She's been pestering me forever that I have yet to see that movie. I've only got as far as half way through it. Which was the case again last night, seeing as I passed out after another round of Apples to Apples. Taka apparently pwns that game... So I still haven't seen all of Juno yet. XP

All and all, a very good day!

~~~~~
My Question:
Are we able to do a repeat of this night in the future??? Hopefully for LONGER??? XP
~~~~~

Almost forgot: Taka did a drawing in her WAHHH! sketchbook of me in chibi form of that coppertone advertisement. What she did now was draw it on the computer and photoshopped it. It is super awesome now! I will post this picture for you to see in future blogs. XP

Rose Mocha, Pinochle, and Coppertone

Blog No. 104: Rose Mocha, Pinochle, and Coppertone

(Posted 2 Days Late)

Being dropped off at 7 AM for a 9 AM Archery class really gets you thinking... Why'd the hell did I not take that stupid driver's test??? Oh right... The portly gay indian boy... The getting lost... And God hates drivers...

Anywho, I spent most of my morning in a practice room or in the hallway drinking a Rose Mocha from Java City. What is a Rose Mocha you ask? Why it's a mocha... with the essence of rose petals...

You think I'm joking don't you? It's TRUE! Apparently Java City has somehow manufacturally crafted a syrup to have a rose petal after taste... It's not too bad really, although I really don't think that drink would catch on, seeing as the folk who get coffee are not really accustomed to trying something erratically different. Oh well! XP

Then I decided to skip Archery because it got too chilly for me to shoot arrows. Instead, I hung out with Parkarr, Taka, and KT. KT spilled milk all over my shirt by throwing a case of M&M minis into my cereal. Milk geysers are only fun if you're not on the recieving end...

We sucked today at Choir. I'll just leave it to you to imagine how sucky it was... I can't really sing too high, and I don't have the gusto or the shputzkah to sing an audible bass voice...

Then Taka did some Italian homework on her laptop. She printed it in the LRC, but we ended up having to "sign up" and "sign in" just to use the printer for 50 seconds. Lame... Then we retired to the cafeteria, again.

Piper and I started playing Asian Speed, our national past time. It's basically Super Speed only asians can win at. Seeing as Piper and I are totally asian, we decided to play. So I pulled out my deck and Piper was dealing out the cards. She had to pause for a minute because she thought she miscounted the number of cards. After we recounted, it was evenly distributed, but it didn't seem right still. So we played anyway and tied the first game. Then we played again and I won. But we haven't played in a long time and we shouldn't be that fast. It was all too easy.

Then we realized that there were only 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A cards in the deck. And there were 8 for each of them... 52 divided by 2 does NOT equal 24.

It was a Pinochle deck. XP

Taka FINALLY drew my character for WAHHH! (the random manga Taka, Piper, and I are going to make. XP) and it looks AWESOME! I have a checkerboard sweatshirt and a Star of David necklace on. The necklace really suits my character, seeing as the character's name will be Rabbiman. XD

She also drew my character in a towel... Nothing but a towel... Then she drew it in chibi form where the towel was being bitten off by a small dog-monster, very much like the Coppertone sunscreen ads...

I never thought I looked that good from behind. XP

My Answer:
Gummy candy or cholaatteee? o 3o Depends. I don't always like chocolate, so normally I'd go gummy. But I like chocolate if it's in something, like my coffee or my peanut butter or my Pringles chips... XP

My Question:
Would you go to a nude beach to sun bathe?

Atmospheric Pressure and Muddy Shoeprints

Blog No. 103: Efficient Soda Can Recycling and Muddy Shoeprints

Today was a very sleepy day. The usual happened.

During Chemistry, the Weissbart proved the concept of atmospheric pressure by using a soda can and a hot plate.

By putting water in the can and setting it on the hot plate, all the gas created from the water is pushing out the normal air that originally occupied the space. Then, when the can is taken off the hot plate and put into a bucket of water, the can immediately crushes itself. The reasoning deals with the gas in the can made a vacuum affect and when inserted into the water, atmospheric pressure literally attacks it from all sides to a state of equilibrium, resulting in the can crushing itself.

When I get my own place, that's how I'm recycling my soda cans! XP

The day went pretty standard from there. The randomchat with the guys that went from Twilight to monster trucks to playing naked monster trucks to a card game involving pushups. Then there was a performance in Piano, and I conversed with Heidi. She apparently likes my full name. XD

Other than that, nothing big or major.

...

Except I fell into a cataclysmic sink hole filled with nature's version of a booby trap.

I was walking backwards after talking with Dictator Roze. My thought process went like: Oh the hill is sloping downward---> Hope I don't fall---> Hills don't slope downward on their own---> My shoe is stuck---> Why is my foot wet?---> Crap I fell. I busted up laughing at myself for a minute, trying to get my foot out. Dictator Roze pretty much thought I was crazy.

Poor me. XP

~~~~~
My Answer:
Would I want a Thim dream? Not really... I think we all come with our sensitve areas... XP
My Question:
Do you think you will be remembered years from now, or are we just footprints in the sand?
~~~~~

I apparently have danty feet...

I don't want a manly pedi... Just the thought of someone touching my feet with lotion and oil and exfoliating dirt crystals...

And what is with those soaps anyway? Exfoliants are dirt, right? So am I cleaning my dirty feet with dirt? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Hehe, defeat rhymes with da feet...

Weird. XP

Rock-A-Bye-Beatles

Blog No. 102: Easter

Woke up bright and early (9 AM) after a night of laundry, re-organizing, laundry, trash collecting, laundry, collecting clothes for good will, and more laundry. XP

Then Audrey, John, Lennox, and I headed to the apartment for Easter Brunch. It's a weird thing my family is starting to do now. On some holidays/weekends, instead of a big and fancy dinner, we would have a big and fancy brunch just to crank out the waffle machine. I think my aunt is trying to make new family traditions. They never really go well in this immediate family though. But hey, we got to eat belgian waffles! :P

Audrey and John ended up sleeping in my mom's room while my mom and I babysitted Lennox. I pretty much sat in front of him, playing some Pokemon Platinum, while he was on the portable bed on the dining room table. I got to hold him a couple of times. He smiled and everthing, only after he made a trumpet-like fart in my arms. DX

We watched Horton Hears a Who.

Jojo is so misunderstood... But why they got Jesse McCartney for his voice? I don't know. :P

Then we watched Bedtime Stories.

If only it rained gumballs here... But it was a cool concept. I kinda got caught into how some of the nonsense things would translate into real life. XP

During Bedtime, Piper called me, saying that she needed Heidi's cell phone number. Basically, she's stuck in Placerville until Tuesday. No internet. No ride to school. So it's up to me to let our Piano teacher know that Piper would be missing the performance day. Which means I have to face performance day on my own... Crap.

On the ride home, John put in a CD of Beatles songs into the car CD shuffler. The Beatles songs though were pulled from a website and were basically a melodic, lullaby versions of those songs played on vibraphone to put Lennox to sleep on the way home.

Finito. XP

Good News: Relocation

Blog No. 101: Relocation

I am the bearer of good news this day, 4/11. Here's the break down of it:

The TV's are set up.

The walking bag is packed with extra toiletries and notebook paper.

The California Lottery duffel bag is packed with clothes.

The Buzz Lightyer backpack is packed with ties and CDs.

My school backpack, clarinet, music and arrows are packed.

Lomo's House, broken AGAIN, shares its one room with my Wii and games.

It's official.

I moved back to the house!

All day, my mom was talking about how, when John goes back to work, Audrey is going to be all alone. She also said that I was going to have to stay during most of my week, seeing as John works the night shift, Monday through Friday. The new mother will need a lackey to fetch bottles and change diapers during the middle of the night.

It didn't really boil down to her until I spoke up; "Am I living at the house now?"

She paused. She looked at me with those sad puppy eyes, gave a fake tear, and basically said, "I guess so."

I will get a ride to school on my aunt's lunch break and a ride from school from my mom. No idea why, but there you have it.

It's a bittersweet moment, really.

At first, I jumped through the moon and yelled out to the heavens, on the inside of course, because I can sleep in my own room and get that little bit of privacy I've been needing for the past 3 and a half months.

But then I realize that I won't have much time to sleep during the month of May, when John goes back to work. It also means I can't make last minute late night plans anymore on the count of the baby. Everything has to go through Audrey and my mom now. I would ask my mom, depending on the plan, to see if I can go, then tell Audrey she has to spend the night at the apartment with the baby during my abscence.

All I can say is FINALLY! XD
