Before I even left Sacramento, I was dropped off at ARC to go to the train station with Piper and Difuentez, but they were only able to leave at 11 AM and I arrived on campus at 8 AM...
But apparently I had come early on the right day. Today, I guess in celebration of May Day, the art and tech department at ARC organized a school wide event for 1500 high school students, basically to attract prospective students to these departments. It was very interesting. I ate my breakfast in the cafeteria, where it was being turned into a fashion show. I also saw some computer programs, paintings, jewelry, welding, and drawings. The culinary department had a plethera of food out for display and for eating. Then there were various stages for chamber, jazz, and choir music.
Dictator Roze, the Bowler Hat Guy, and Sergeant Pepper. XD
The choir "stage" was basically the Chamber Singers regular rehearsal, where I watched Piper and Difuentez sing with the rest of those folk. Dictator Roze sang pretty well with her solo on the "For Good" piece. Taka came by during the rehearsal and we sat together in the back. A couple of attempted songs later, Piper, Difuentez, and I set out to the Amtrak station, but not before giving out a few "David Hugs" as BLAH calls it, although I would call them glomps. :P
Difuentez dropped Piper and I off at the Amtrak station, where we purchased our tickets and boarded our train. It was Piper's first time on a double decker type train. She apparently took a tourist train in the Grand Canyon that came with its own train robbers. This train is more like a cross between a charter bus and a... train. She freaked out a little when it first took off, but once she got her little snack at the dining car, she got over it. XP
Sacramento---> A couple of cities --->San Jose
Then we had to catch the bus from San Jose to Santa Cruz. That bus was more like a cross between the regular city RT buses a the charter bus. Piper was still freaking out, mainly because of the bus ride went over a hill road. We sat in the back, blasting Wicked and Anberlin music.
When the bus pulled into the Santa Cruz Metro Center, Terry called my phone. I looked out the bus window and told him I saw him on the sidewalk. He immediately turned around to see the bus, then took off and ran to the bus stop. That asian can be speedy when he wants to. XP
Terry took us to Palace, the arts store I always end up going to each time I visit Santa Cruz, where we met Beth, Dan, Corey, and the Blonde. Of course I ran up to her and hugged the life out of her, and of course we talked like we were picking up where we left off yesterday. XP
We went to the dorm, where Kaylah made this amazing stuffed lemon chicken and rice. I'm always glad to see Kaylah doing what she loves. XP
And yeah...
So here we are, ending our day on Saturday morning, watching Fruit Baskets. ( jack of the blog by Anji. Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!) XP
Granted this blog will be posted after this day, I'll still update you on each day. So be patient! XP
I started the morning with some drama. I won't go into it, because it's not my place to broadcast it to you. With that said, I am beginning to understand why I don't ordinarily arrive early on Tuesdays and Thursdays...
I ended up not going to Archery today in order to practice more for the Piano class I missed. Unfortunately, the piano lab was locked when I arrived, which meant that I skipped out on seeing JT for no reason... DX
When Choir rolled around, we had to touch base on whatever we needed to do before the Choir Trip next Tuesday. Basically, we're stopping at Natomas High School to perform, a church in San Francisco to perform, the San Francisco Conservatory to be tourists, the Wicked musical to enjoy ourselves, and back home. I'm really looking forward to the Wicked musical thingy and I will hopefully get some good pictures to post up here. What I'm dreading is that I won't be able to sleep between when we arrive back in Sacramento (12:30 AM) and the Chemistry test (7:30 AM). I need at least a "B" on this test in order to have a painless summer...
We also went over some older music we haven't looked at since before the Choir Festivus. I'm really starting to loathe singing Loch Lomond more and more. I can never get the key right, and when I worry about that my singing just snowballs from there. I hate that I still can't sing it yet... But other than that, the music is coming along nicely... ish...
After Choir, there was another Latin Jazz Ensemble concert right outside the ARC bookstore. If you don't believe me, here's a picture:
I'm surprised on how well the picture came out, seeing as it's from the mediocre camera on my cell phone.
This is the view from where I was sitting, enjoying the concert. They had a really good sound and a catchy groove. I think Picasso-Face, one of the tenor sax players, enjoyed the "Molestoso" song a little too much... I wouldn't blame him, because Taka and I enjoyed that song too. XP
There were a few people who stood up and danced in the circle. Taka and I wanted to also, but niether of us knew how to dance in that style. If we end up going to the Jazz showcase next thursday, we are most likely going to dance in the aisles. XP
Nothing else to reflect on really...

How many more days must I endure until I get to see the 1/2 Pint?
A sigh of relief that today, Wednesday 4/29, is over.
*sigh*
The white-haired broad screwed up my results during my Chemistry lab.
I was supposed to carefully measure how much basic liquid I was dripping into the flask, turning the color of the liquid in the flask from orange to pink. Then a random white-haired lady walks in and comes straight to my lab bench, practically yelling out, "So what are we doing in HERE today?" She startled me and and made my arm twitch, which resulted in a couple of extra drops into the flask, turning the liquid from orange to completely purple.
Then The Weissbart, adding insult to injury, walks over to greet the white-haired lady and points out that the solution was not supposed to turn purple. Then the white-haired broad said, "Oh, that's such a shame. You should really pay closer attention to how much NaOH solution gets poured in!"
I could only strain the grin pulling apart my face, when really I was thinking I would so not talk if I were you/so help me I will pour this liquid on your head and dye your hair purple! But really, I just only politely nodded. Nodded and waved as I drained the purple fury down the sink...
Played Mario Kart and Kirby on Link's laptop. Failed at both of them...
Ended up not going to Piano...
Then I tried to call Kaylah, but she was busy and asked to call back later. I called back later, and she said that she needed to call back later. She called back while I was in Concert Band---
In Concert Band, we had to play ONE song over and over again for the different candidates up for the job position for Band Director and we were supposed to comment on how well each person did. I don't remember their names, I just remember the names I gave them, like Fran, George Lopez, Mrs. Bowerz, Dyne 2.0, and Clouse. I really don't want to play that Glouschter song anymore...
---Then after Concert Band, I called Kaylah and got her voicemail, then called again and got an answer. Basically, we talked about the plan for this weekend when Piper and I are down there in Santa Cruz (WOOT!). I just basically have to lead Piper to the dorm when we arrive, and take her to the beach the next day while Kaylah meets us there. Which is fine, I guess, only we won't see Kaylah some part of the night when we arrive and 2 hours on Saturday...
Again, a big sigh of relief that the day is over!
*another sigh*
Randomly saw Bianca and Darius at Panda...

How many more days must I endure until I get to see Ivanna B. Asheff?
Be alert. Wash your hands. Stay away from Mexico. If you exhibit flu-ish, sore throat symptoms, PANIC!
You may wonder why the pigs have given us this pandemic. I've been researching and researching and I believe I found a somewhat suitable answer.
The pigs have waged war with us.
Sure you have your ham sandwiches, your bacon, your sausages, your pigs feet, ecetera. You'd think that'd be good enough reason to wage war against the human race.
The horror, served with a side of grapes (who commented that they are neutral in the Pig and Swinese War).
However, pig slaughter is only Joe Biden compared to the Barack Obama of all reasons.
The Mythbusters.
Pigs were once peaceful, carefree, dirt-loving mammals. Then the Mythbusters came along and brought terror and horror to the lives of these innocent pigs! The cruel things they do to those pig corpses, may they rest in peace, (even as their skin burn in pieces), would put the slaughter houses to shame! The Mythbusters have used pig analogs as replacement for human test subjects to get feasible results to myths that are potentially harmful to humans. They shot guns and cannonballs at them, let them decompose in a car, even used their stomachs to mix pop rocks and soda for a gasy explosion. They even dress up and humiliate the corpses of these poor, poor pigs!
Here's the evidence (BE WARNED: This video is not for the kiddies, the faint of heart, or the pig armada threatening our lives):
Just awful...
I would wage war against humanity too if I knew this was going on to my people. XD
Anyways, nothing much happened today. Just partially slept in Chemistry. Met up with Susan Surrandon and Matt afterwards... Matt apparently had a puking session this morning... Ew... Then I went to Chem Lab, which was pretty much 2 hours of watching ice melt, freeze, melt, and freeze again. Literally. DX
Had a cheeseburger for lunch... Cow, NOT pig! XD
Piper brushed out my hair, which resulted in a hand-sized hairball off of my brush. Dustin put it in his shirt as chest hair, and Matt stuck it out of the crotch of his pants... Apparently my hair is very much like pubic hair. :P
Heidi, our Piano teacher, is a clean freak, which I guess is understandable seeing as she plays the piano 58-hours a day. She scared us about the swine flu, saying stuff like it apparently targets young adults... I gooped my hands with half the bottle of hand sanitizer as I left. XP
And I had to wait for my ride, so I walked to the tennis courts, where I sat with Dustin on the bleachers watching a 12 year old girl out play college kids at tennis. I still had on the random bracelet he made out of the string that would have tightened the bottom of the legs of his shorts. He made one for himself at lunch, then he made one with the other one and put it around my wrist. So basically, the bracelet I'm wearing came from inside Dustin's pants. :P

Kaylah really hates Starbucks... With a passion... Which is why, whenever I have one, I must text her "Forgive me Mother K, for I have sinned." XD
Name's David. My interests are pretty simple, low maitenanced. I enjoy going to school, meeting new people, and seeing new places. I do see myself someday traveling to the corners of the world. But I do not mind just finding a shady tree in the park, putting on my iPod full of KT Tunstall music, pulling out my sketchbook, and draw people. Everything else is up to interpretation. :P
