Yes, you realize this blog is time stamped TWO days late. Long story short, I didn't have anything worthwhile to write about. It was a good thing I waited.
Blog No. 45: Spor or Dream
I couldn't really sleep until late, partly because of the snoring, the wind, the red-neck comedy special, and the booming techno, Madonna music from behind our wall... But when I did, I had a weird dream that came in pieces:
~~~~~
It started out where all my dreams start out, on a chessboard. I only can stand on those white squares, in fear that the black ones are bottomless pits, though I have figured out that the bishop's and queen's squares are flat. It's usually hard to tell though after it repeats as I move forward. The board turns into a long hallway. It became more and more defined. Pillars on both sides of the hall every five squares. I can't see the walls because it's so dark, but I assumed they were there. If I kept going, there would be a door with a green and purple crest on it where two suits of armor with peacocks on their heads stand guard. They usually prevent me from going in, so I lean toward the right wall with my hand until I felt a doorknob. I turned it to the left and opened the hidden door.
I end up on the helm of a pirate ship. It tipped dramatically back and forth between the bow and stern. A rope dropped down from the bird's nest at the VERY top. So I grabbed the rope and began climbing upward, using the seasickening swing to help me up. As I was going up, Taka was sliding down the sail like a slide, flailing her arms, for some reason holding a fork and knife. I kept climbing upward until I reached the top and jumped in that thing, only the floor of that did not exist and it I fell through.
I landed, somehow, on the tip of Big Ben, sparing you the graphic details of course. I was holding on to dear life, which only means I will slip off. Sliding down, I stopped on the minute hand pointing at the 10 by my shoelace. I ended up hanging there upside down. I was trying to wait for the minute hand to move, only to see that the hour hand is the only one that's moving.
Some sort of bike pedaling hot air balloon flies by. It was Taka, again, onboard, still with a fork and knife at hand. I yelled out, "What are the utensils for!?"
Taka only replied, "POMEGRANATE!" and pedaled on...
It literally hit my head when I finally thought that I should've waved her down for help.
A giant, anvil-like hammer suddenly came flinging and flipping upward at the clock and shattered the face of poor ol' Ben. Big Ben managed a to squeeze out a tear before it was completely obliterated. And I was falling, again.
(This dream was long.)
Then I was in the middle of the battle scene in Beast's Castle in Kingdom Hearts II. It was the grand ballroom, and I landed on the chandelier in the middle of the room. Piper was on the chandelier too, only she was Donald Duck. So... Piper Duck? And Dustin ended up being Goofy. Totally suits him.
Anyways, we were on that chandelier and the giant heartless monster came galloping our way. I hung on the chain and jumped up, swinging the chandelier toward it, crushing it against the walls of the ballroom. Dustin fell off as it flung forward. Piper Duck was squacking all the way around. Dustin was trying to chase down the monster, making himself dizzy and fell over. The heartless got smudged into the paint, all black and purple scrapes.
Piper Duck and I jumped off and helped Dustin up, when someone in a black hood jumped from one of the balconies above to the center of the room. He just floated there, all creepy-like, his face strategically hidden in the hood's shadow. Dustin threw his shield like a frisbee at him, and Piper Duck a large ball of flame. Both just phased through the hooded man. He summoned some energy and made a giant sweeping motion, clasping his hands together and creating a large gust of wind that broke the large glass window behind us. He disappeared.
The doors opened and a giant Mrs. Potts clogged in, whistling her "Be Our Guest" tune.
Piper Duck grabbed her staff with both hands as she spontanneously combusts, standing there engulfed in flame and uttering no nonsense words in that eerie, quacks-a-lot tone. She ran after the open door, with Dustin, stumbling over for his shield, right after.
Before I followed, the Mrs. Potts had an unexpected passenger on her spout that called out, "Don't forget that pole thingy!" I looked over to see it was the familiar asian, Taka, drinking her tea with three different sized top hats on. She gestured over to the ground below me. The keyblade. I bent over and picked it up. A fairy dust-magic light fluttered over the blade to turn it green. I looked up and they were gone. So I forgot about them to catch up to the human duck and dog. A light blinded me as I tore through the doors.
It was bright outside, especially on top of a freshly snowed upon mountain top. Me with no sleeves. Dustin was hugging me from behind for some reason. Piper Duck was busy making footprints to see. Well... I guess he kept me warm... With his fur?
Suddenly Piper slipped off the edge and started snowboarding on one of her webbed feet, backwards, flailing and screaming in that raspy voice. Dustin stepped forward and peered over the edge to assess the situation. He asked, "Gawrsh, how'd that happen?" I was a little annoyed, so I took his circular shield off his back on the ground, pulled him down on it, and pushed him over to follow her.
I also had to look over the edge of the cliff and spectate the cohorts fleeting down the slope. I pulled out my green keyblade and used it as a snowboard to slip down the hill. Once I caught up with them, I somehow had to get off the mountain. I ended up doing this super cool trick with the keyblade down the mountain. I leaned back on the handle, kick the teeth of the key which flipped the key in the air and gave me some air, then as it span around its axis and inverted forward, I jumped on the handle and used it as a pogo stick while pinching the key's chain between my ankles to carry the keyblade with me as I soar up and grabbed the dragon's talon...
Oh yeah, there was a dragon.
(I always wonder if there's a guide book to this dream).
Dustin and Piper Duck landed on its back, while I was hanging like an ape on one of the dragon's feet. On the other foot, was a completely buff Taka, doing the same. I finally asked, "WTH are you up to?"
Taka simply replied, "The same thing you are. Here's that scroll by the by." She handed me a scroll of paper. When I opened up, I read it, but I didn't know what it said. I knew what it was in the dream, but I don't know what it was. Apparently there was an objective because I felt a serious look strike across my face.
The dragon flew by various airbourne objects. It passed 3 helicopters, 5 blimps, an airship, a pirate ship, a kite festival, the Pittsburgh Steelers, a river, a Rayquaza, and a whale.
We ended up at some space station in the sky. It had one circular room with three doors away from eachother. The walls were windows to the starry skies. Somehow, Taka, Dustin, Piper Duck, and I landed inside that thing. I walked up to one of the doors and read the scroll again. I tried kicking the door, and it opened the other door across the room. It was just a small dark room with nothing in it. I kicked my door again and the other door opened, with the same contents.
I backed up and Taka walked up to the door, puling out her fork and knife. She stabbed the door with the knife and poked the hole to make it look like a keyhole.
"There you are!" said Taka.
"But what about the other two doors?" I asked.
A giant burger flew outside the window...
"I got it!" Dustin said as he started balancing on his shield. Piper Duck tipped him over with her staff and stepped on his face. She gave me the big thumbs up.
I stood back from the door with the new keyhole and rose my green keyblade. A string of light shone through the tip of the blade to the door, lighting up the keyhole with a green, glittery light.
...
The End. XD
