Blog No. 98: The Middle of Spring Break

Which means it's about time to worry about some school issues.

I still have that Italian paper to write. Not really a problem.

Nothing crucial in Chemistry, but I need to know the score of my test, to see if I need to drop it or not. I probably won't though. If I do, I would make a huge sigh of relief right here, then worry about my summer plans. If I don't, then I would have a slim but still viable chance of passing Chemistry with the average "C" and then make that huge sigh of relief. I might start going to a tutor for it... Ugh...

It all really depends on this test. If I get anything below a "C" on it, then I'm more or less screwed. I felt confident enough... I should've done well, right? XP

I should practice some choir and piano music... I guess band music seeing as I missed a rehearsal and have an extra week off due to this break...

And... Yeah.

That's pretty much it as far as school goes.

Then, I have to bring up my status for UCSC with my mom this weekend. I have recieved some contact on financial aid and they made their offers and whatnot. Now I need to turn to my mom with the rest of the help for loans and resume workings... I have to work part time for the fall semester... Gross... XP

I just watched some new Mythbusters. They had the demolition derby special. Two hours long. They revisited that "compact compact" myth BIG TIME. XP

Yep. Just looking forward to the sleepover at Taka's! XP

Top Ten Heroes

Blog No. 97: Top Ten Heroes

I decided I'm going to update my "heroes" section on my myspace. I'm doing a Top Ten style of it to make it more interesting and give an in depth analysis of what I like. 

Note that I'm not including family and friends. Here's why: Kaylah would easily be number 1, then I'd give my reason, she ROCKS!, then I'd give others, like my mom, she provides for me, my sister, she's awesome, Piper, she stalked me, Taka, She's asian, JT, he's my "lover", Kaylah's boobs, they make great goal posts, and so on! It gets too cliched if I do it that way.

In essence, if you get the DNA of these 10 people and combined them and cloned the result, you'd get someone I would aspire to be/who I am today.

Top Ten Heroes List (Letterman Style):

10) Zeno, and his multiple paradoxes.

For people who don't know, Zeno lived in Aristotle's time. He was like a combination of a philosopher and a mathematician. There are a few noted statements he brought up that are really radical and would disprove theoretical mathematics as we know it in terms of theoretical mathematics. (I'll let you as the readers research the arguments. XD) It would make sense that my favorite math teacher, Mr. Humphries, introduced these paradoxes to me. XP

In summary: Zeno frikken disproved the concept of movement and time!

It would take some real wit and cajones to do that. Ad infinitum! XP

9) Kat Von D.

She's an artist in her own right. Sure she's a tattoo artist, but an artist nonetheless. I've watched her show, LA Ink, for some time now and I'm convinced she's Leonardo Da Vinci reincarnated. The tattoos she makes aren't always the cliched pin-up girls and flaming skulls. Most of her art, as well as the art of her cohorts on her show, make artwork on the skin that pop out at you and attack you with an appreciation stick, if you catch my drift. :D

I decided that, when I get my tattoo, I'm going to get it from her! I've been thinking about it for awhile and I'm planning to get a left sleeve tattoo. It involves so much stuff in the design of it all; I'm going to have to write a seperate blog on it! XP

8) Sasami.

The shrimp, blue-haired girl on the anime, Tenchi Muyo! I remember the good old days of Toonami on Cartoon Network, where they ran this series a couple of times. The character I remembered most was Sasami.

Maybe it reminded me of Salami...?

Either way, it feels like she's one of the permanent residents in my head. I think she became the iconic symbol of what my inner child would be... I don't know if that's sad or right on the bullseye... Well, she was shrimpy, compassionate, critical when she needed to be, and able to cook delicious meals in bulk! Hmmm... It reminds me of a certain blonde someone I just can't put my finger on... XP

7) Turk & JD.

From Scrubs, naturally. The doctors with a little bit too much time on their hands for eachother. I don't know who I like more, either the stereotypical frat boy, Turk, or the sensitive easy going guy, JD. Their love is "a love unspecified", much like my love with JT or Dustin, apparently... It's funny because I would be the JD character next to JT, because I would be the more clingy, huggy, unicorn loving guy. But I would be Turk compared to Dustin, because he wouldn't be black enough. Talk about identity crisis! XP

It wasn't the "My Musical" episode that dragged me into this series, surprisingly. My sister, Audrey, watched it pretty much from the beginning and it turned out to be both of our favorite sitcoms. XD

6) The Mythbusters.

What possible fun would you get out of a major in the field of science? Mythbusting. XP

Jackson I think got me into the Mythbusters. Who wouldn't like explosions and applying tests to urban myths, like could a stick of dynamite be an efficient way of cleaning a cement truck? or can you leave a trail of gun powder that, when lit, would lead to up to the barrel your holding? or could you die by "flatus"? 

My favorite, still, would be the Franklin's Kite episode. Something about electricity just entices me... XP

5) The Grim Reaper.

The perfect childhood hero, right? XD

Well, he was my childhood hero because I would always use him in stories. Back when I was a writing freak in elementary school, I would always write these stories where the Grim Reaper was the evil villain lurking around in the shadows. Ever since, my writing has spawned from that, playing homage to those beginner's stories. Even if he wasn't right out in the open, he would be there still in the corner of my mind, either incognito, in a picture frame, or as a random person on the street. No matter what form, he's always there...

Kinda sad if you think about it. XP

4) Alice Cullen.

Of all the Cullens, Alice is my favorite. :D

I mean come on! Who wouldn't want their best friend/LOVER to be able to see into the future? Who wouldn't want to be kidnapped by her and be endlessly pampered by her? Who wouldn't want to stroke her spiky dark hair, stare into those deep golden eyes, and kiss the benevolent beauty that is a vampire?

...

BTW, she's from Twilight, the goth high school girl and goth mom bible. Those goth people beat me with those bibles to get me to read it, so something good had to come out of it right? XP

3) KT Tunstall.

My favorite song and album, as well as the revival of my love for modern music, came from the brilliant mind of KT Tunstall. She made the song "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" (My FAVORITE!) and "Suddenly I See" which was in that The Devil Wears Prada movie.

I was in a slump for the longest time, looking for some good music artists. In high school, it was a LOT of Britney Spears or Avril Lavigne. I found KT on the login page of Myspace. It's funny, when I saw that on the login page, I thought Well, if I don't like what I hear, then I'm going to hate music from now on. Luckily, that wasn't the case! I did research of KT and found her album, before it was released in the US, as well as some YouTube videos of her doing Black Horse live! 

If you have yet to see Black Horse live, then I'm going to kill you! INSTANT DEATH! Well... Maybe death is too harsh a punishment... All I know is that, when I showed it to Kaylah, she instantly fell in love with it too! It literally became our song! XP

2) Sora.

My idol that embodies everything that is RPG gaming, cliched dramatic storylines, and Disney. XP

Sora is from the Kingdom Hearts Playstation games. Basically, darkness sucks his home world and his girlfriend, so he travels with Donald and Goofy to other Disney themed worlds searching for her while defending himself with a giant key.

At first, I thought I wasn't going to like this game! Blasphemous, I know. But, ever since I played it with my cousin, Ruben, I was hooked! I remember for the longest time getting stuck at the Alice in Wonderland world. If he didn't get me passed that level, I wouldn't have continued.

My sister also found a keyblade necklace on one of her trips with John to Sacanime. She sent me a pix message, asking if I wanted it. I quickly replied an all caps YES!!! When she got home, she opened the box and I immediately screamed like a fangirl on the inside. Ever since, KH fans have been pointing out my necklace, asking where I got it and remarking on how cool it was that I got it! 

This is why my sister's awesome! XP

And finally, 1) Lauren Graham/Lorelai Gilmore.

Hold it!, you might be saying. Don't be alarmed. You are reading it correctly.

There was a phase during high school that involved no television. Nada. Zilch. Until one day, I decided to flip through the channels, away from my comfort shows, like Dexter's Lab or Fairly Oddparents. I decided one day that I should be open to new things. Then I scrolled over a Gilmore Girls episode.

Nothing was ever the same.

The first episode I saw was the ending of it, where Rory and Lorelai Gilmore decided to throw deviled eggs they got as left overs from a party at Jess's car. I thought ZOMG That's such a cool and random idea! If I ever hate anyone I will remember this Gilmore Girls moment! Then I started to ask these questions, like what party did those eggs come from? and who's Jess? Then, when I saw the episode again, I was completely thrown out of the bus. I did not comprehend it because I was looking at it out of context. At this point, I wouldn't bother pursuing it because it would've been too much work. It would mean seeing the entire series from the beginning! But I didn't think that this time. I liked this part enough to continue this quest of curiosity.

From then on, I DVR'd episodes of it. And I got hooked! I only now need to see the last season.

Point being, from there, with newly renewed faith in TV, I was able to expand. I got to see Will & Grace and Reba, as suggestions from Kaylah. CSI's and NCIS were my mom's regular shows. Alex Garcia, I think, suggested House, my all time favorite series, to me.

And from the Gilmore Girls, I found my favorite character, Lorelai Gilmore. She encompassed everything a role model should be and more. I loved watching the Gilmore Girls just for her. Not only that, but I also looked up episodes of talk shows with her on them. Lorelai Gilmore = Lauren Graham. 

She also had this presence around her that made he more... what's the word... Attactive? Glowing personality? An aura of awesomeness? Plus, she was always a little flaky, a lot of sarcastic, and a good wit on her shoulders. Add male genitals, and you basically got me. XP

What I wouldn't give to see Guys and Dolls in New York right now! XDDD

Heroes that did not make the cut but were pretty darn close!:

Reba & Kelly. They were awesome as a duet. They combined a little country with pop in that "Because of You" song. Seperately, they weren't half bad, but put them together and you got a top-selling single! XP



Quest Crew. Sure, they're dancers. But why don't you try to do some of the tricks they do? They pretty much met every challenge and were able to combine music and dancing in their final "for voting" performance! (found in blog OrQUESTra and Rover for your convenience)

Iruka-sensei. The orphaned kid turned sensei that conveniently gives the Naruto character someone to relate to. Everyone would prefer Kakashi to Iruka, but I'd root for the underdogs! XP

Ellen DeGeneres. Somehow I got into watching her daytime talk show. Her comedy is simple, no bad mouthing words, no major references to sex, just simple, yet funny punchlines. I'd prefer her anyday compared to Oprah. XP

Pirates. Granted these are dancing pirates from the musical "The Pirate Queen" but still... XP

Molly Weasley. Read HP7: The Deathly Hallows to the final battle. When you reach the showdown between her and Bellatrix, you'll know why she made it this far! XP

Josh Groban & Lucia Micarelli. Groban has a wonderful tenor voice, both live and recorded, that popular music should have, and Lucia is the most awesome vioinist I ever heard! XP

Dr. House. Come on! Its Dr. House!

Snoopy. For a time, I would post newpaper comicstrips on my notebooks, all of Peanuts cartoons. My grandma got me into those when I was little. For the longest time, I did not see how Snoopy was supposed to be a beagle. Where's the brown??? XP

Blog No. 96: The Crappy Goose Chase, Or, God Hates Drivers

Wake up time: 6:06 AM

I snoozed for most of the time between 6 and 8.

I got up and took a shower, finally, somewhere around that time. Then the shower kind of called my name in a more soothing tone... I need to replace the shower curtain... Lewis Black is super funny out of context... 

Wake up time: 9:08 AM

The hot water faded away. The symphony in my head had reached its climactic end, unfortunately. So I walked out and the mirror was completely fogged over and wet. I'm not used to my old bathroom anymore. D:

Got dressed, met the deadline of 10 AM. Judge Judy played in my room. 

Walked downstairs to see my mom taking care of Lennox. Then I waited on a slightly uncomfortable chair and ottoman combo. The seat cushion might as well be invisible for what it's worth. So I slouched... and slouched... and slouched into a reclining position, dreaming of sisters and courtdates...

Wake up time: 11:48 AM

"I thought you guys were leaving at 10 to practice driving?" Audrey slowly walked downstairs from the master bedroom.

Crap. Why the hell am I still tired?

So I stretched, again, and bounced back up. 

First we dropped off the van at my aunt's work to trade it with my car, which is currently her drive around town vehicle. Then I drove all the way downtown to Broadway. Drove up to the DMV. Then drove out of the DMV parking lot, because it was nearly 2 and I still had an hour to kill. 

So I drove... and drove... and drove... I ended up at Sac State. 

Crap. Went too far...

I tried driving back the way I came. I traveled down Folsom boulevard for the longest time. Then I drove up Folsom. Down Folsom. Up Folsom. 

Piper called, so I pulled over in front of a bagel bakery. "Kind of driving right now. Will call later!"

Then I drove down Folsom. Up Folsom. Down Folsom.

Kaylah texted, twice, so I pulled over in front of a large, decapitated head of a female statue. It went like:

1) Some of my family is coming up during that weekend you and Angela are coming, so is there any way you can entertain her during that time? I haven't seen them since July. :P

2) Crap. Wrong weekend. Please disregard last message! :)

My mom spoke up and asked what I was doing, to put it mildly. To put it bluntly, she made me super nervous. I told her my brilliant plan, travel down Folsom to look for Broadway. It was then when she said, "Both Folsom and Broadway are parallel to eachother."

Crap. I'm lost on the outskirts of downtown. 

Bad place to be before a driver's test. 

So I drove the opposite direction I was going to reach Sac State, again. Then I crossed a neighborhood street to get onto J street. Then I swirled around the numbered streets in decreasing order until I reached Alhambra, which was between 30th and 31st. 

I pulled over at Del Taco because the car was getting too hot. I realized how nervous I was when I went into the bathroom to wet my face. I stared into the mirrorless white brick wall and felt trickles of near-clear liquid droplets down my face, 1% of which was self produced. 

Crap. Mental breakdown.

I decided to call back Piper, "It's complicated, I'm not going to take the test." Which was true. I needed a soda... And some excedrin...

My mom said, "You still have some time, dear. Just relax for a minute, eat your quesadilla, and we'll hit the DMV." 

I was silly. It's easy enough, right? It's like a normal test, only you have someone watching your every move and mark you down for whatever move you make... A peeping tom with a California State worker's salary... 

I ate my cheddar quesadilla, no green sauce, and munched on a few fries. Once I got food in my system, and after a giant gulp of soda, I was ready to hit the streets again.

I reached the DMV, concealing highly pumped adrenaline coursing through my body. When I went up to the counter, I told them my name and liscence number. Before I gave him the insurance and registration for the Malibu, the pudgy, indian homo said in the most defiant tone he could produce, "Sorry, you're not scheduled for an appointent today."

... Shit.

I could feel the corners of my mouth were searing with pain. I realized I must be containing misguided, blinding white fury into my face. I must've looked creepy. So after a second, I gave him an, "Aww, I'll have to try again next time."

I didn't want to deal with it anymore. I walked out of the DMV, resisting the urge to flip the building off realizing how silly that would look. I sat in the driver's seat, passed the paper work to my mom, and pulled out of the DMV. My mom was filled in between deep, calming breaths.

She busted up laughing all the way home.

...

Then she told my aunt, and they busted up laughing together in stereo.

...

I'm going to the South Sac DMV from now on.

As The Day Bends Over

Blog No. 95: Lennox Home

"As The Day Bends Over"? Its my lame title for a random soap opera.

Maybe mine.

Today, I'm broadcasting from the house. I would be glad if only I knew it was permanent. That, and if I didn't have to be here. 

As it stands, I'm here because I was told to be here, which is understandable seeing as a newborn is in the house. But my mom didn't express it that way. It was more like, be there in case (or WHEN) something goes wrong, to put it nicely. To put it bluntly, both her and my aunt might as well have said that Audrey and John are incompetent.

My aunt, while driving me to the hospital yesterday, (after we got McDonalds for the new mommy and Starbux for the old one), pretty much vented what she thought about the situation, and the SAME EXACT conversation happened again with my mom today on the way back to the house. It got blown out of proportion, like someone inflated a balloon with to much air from an air tank filled with fart. Sorry to give you the image, but that was pretty much how it felt just sitting there, nodding your head, not being able to speak up, or give the benefit of the doubt. Which is why I have this blog to vent! XP

Here are some collective highlights:

"They are putting us out like its no one's business! They did not arrive prepared at that hospital and I'm willing to bet you they are not at all prepared at the house!"

"You should give them a diary-thing on the baby's feeding schedule. Watch, she'll do it while you [my mom] are there, but as soon as you're out of there they won't stick to it. Bet on it!"  

[Getting Zac Efron's Bet on It song out of my head...]

"They have to be told what they're going to do but I doubt they'll even listen. They've done a swell job as it is!"

"The second Audrey is alone, she will be overwhelmed and won't know how to handle anything! If she's already crying in the hospital, the safest place you can possibly be in, imagine what will happen with the scene change!"

"This is all we can do. I mean, we're here with the baby and we have to make sure its alright. That's why [my mom] is willing to bust her back, because it's the child that would suffer."

That last one really got me, because that's how my mom talked about the Octuplet Mom or Casey Anthony, (watch Nancy Grace and you'll know this reference as well as my 5 and 7 o'clock pain). Granted, some of the language has been changed in my head. Some sound affects and hand gestures that supposedly simulates an insulting retarded person were taken out as well... 

All I know is: John and Audrey already started a feeding and diaper schedule for Lennox before we got there. Audrey pretty much asked all the questions for the breast feeding procedures from what I saw, so she it tring to keep herself informed. They already had all the baby stuff done, like assembly of the crib (thanks to yours truly) and organization of the baby's things. As far as crying, all I hear are the baby's cries, but they were really brief because he just wanted a diaper change. This, and Audrey did not give birth to and exploit eight babies for TV time or kill her daughter and bury the corpse wrapped in plastic bags and duct tape.

It's funny how they go along like this, then act like they're indifferent when they come face to face with John and Audrey. My maternal parental units have no right to complain. I remember awhile back, (Blog: Baby Shower), that my mom was talking about how much John's mom did not approve of Audrey before the pregnancy and wedding. They acted all happy around John's parents too, but they admit to being fake about it. I'm not sure if John's parents were doing the same, nor do I have the right to comment or accuse on it. All I can say is how dare my mom and aunt talk so high and mighty like that, act insulted for Audrey of how much they did not approve of her, and then turn around and do the same thing with John.

Lennox is not that high maitenanced. I think the thing with this "Post Mordem Depression" or whatever the hell it is is just the hormone imbalance magnifying everything to an extreme. Audrey did show some signs, but after that, all she needed was John or my mom there to put wet towels over her eyes and like the second it came she immediately talked herself down and was sane again.

So what's my mom and aunt's excuse?

...

OK. That's it. I don't have the right to complain either. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. That's how my mom and aunt see it and this is how I see it.

Moving on!

As far as status on the baby? All is well in the kingdom of newborns, as stated in between the venting. The doctor and nurses say that everything was going normally as it should. Everyone involved are maintaining a healthy amount of food consumption and bowel movements (teehee! XP). So they discharged Audrey and Lennox. The rest of this week, supposedly, is dedicated to making sure Audrey gets to a point of feeling better and both John and Audrey are holding down the fort OK.

I'm gonna go to bed now, after I see Lennox one more time so I don't go to sleep angry. 

That mexipino baby is SO cute! XP

Raga and Tabla

Blog No. 94: Vox Music

You know I realized something. When I scrolled through Rover II, my iPod, today I only listened to Utada Hikaru, Gackt, Three Graces, and the Yo-Yo Ma song of the Arabian Waltz. All more or less foreign music or music in a foreign language.

Then I went to St. John's church downtown to usher for Vox Music's concert "The East" which was basically a compilation of Persian/Indian/Georgian songs.

Coincidential, or, FATE? XP

Yeah. I was a "volunteer" usher for the Vox Music concert today at that church with Parkarr. Basically, we put papers into programs, passed out programs, and acted as a sign for the bathroom. It was pretty packed. Packed with old people. Old people that smelled like food... That's what Parkarr said at least. XP

Parkarr pretty much complained about his back and wanting cheeseburgers. He was also nodding off during the concert. I wouldn't blame him, at least during some of the singing...

But they had this really good raga (bazillion stringed guitar) player and tabla (toned hand drum) player. I think I met both of them before, I'm not sure. In the program, they said they worked at Sac State at some point, so it may have been one time I went over there to perform with my high school. XP

Everyone in that church applauded for a real long time, so they did an encore. Then after one last song, everyone stood up and applauded. So yeah, they had really good turn out. XP

Then Parkarr drove me to In-n-Out burger, where we commenced the eating of the cheeseburgers. I figured out that Parkarr can't do math. XP

Then he drove me home! :D

Mall Day Redux

Blog No. 93: Mall Day Redux

Today was spent mostly at the hospital. Audrey was loads better. John had to go take a shower. Mom hogged the baby.

I wasn't really needed.

So I pretty much loitered all over the place. Ben, John's twin, arrived at some point, but we were kicked out of the room because Audrey was nursing. We just sat in the waiting area. Much like my conversation with John, Ben and I talked about high school, but we also talked about my college education. I complained about Chemistry, talked about Archery, and gave him an excuse to visit Santa Cruz starting Fall. XP

Once Ben left, I walked to the cafeteria to make the Rabbiman Sandwich, (the turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, and mayo) only not toasted, with a side of fruit. I ate it while listening to KT Tunstall and Anberlin. I was sad because I didn't make my iPod playlist yet, ever since the previous Rover died...

I was texting Kaylah a lot. We basically talked about Lennox, how she has to see him now. We also planned our trip, April 17th to 19th: Piper's and David's Grand Santa Cruz Adventure. I also got her to plan to take us to the beach! You're welcome Piper! XD

I got some weird looks, so I went to the top floor and sat in the chapel. I ended up cranking my KT Tunstall music up and used my earphones as a stereo. It gets real echo-y in there, especially when you try to do some karaoke. :D

I also pulled out my Pokemon Platinum. Here's my status thus far:

Then a grieving family came in the chapel and all of a sudden I feel out of place. So I quickly left back to the room.

Piper called my cell phone while I was at the hospital and said, "WE SHOULD GO TO THE MALL!" So I made my mom drive me to Arden. I picked up an FLCL manga book at Barnes & Noble and sat in the sex section until they arrived. :P

We went to JC Penny to look for Susan Surrandon at work. I was all, "Paging Susan Surrandon, Susan Surrandon please come to the front of the store," but apparently she got off work already...

Then we figured out our Sleep Numbers. Taka was a 25, Piper and Parkarr 30, and me a whomping 45. Apparently I like my beds to be firm. XP

We made our usual stop to Teavana. Their teas are DELICIOUS! My favorite so far is the Roobios Chai tea. Someone dropped a glass lid to a tea pot.

Went to Hot Topic and found a cool top hat/hair pin.

Went to the Hello Kitty store, where we found Kat, Taka's cousin. Taka got a Sailor Moon poster and Piper got some star paper thingies... XP

We went to Bath & Body and saw these awesome orange butterfly chandelier things. Piper wanted to buy one, or at least find out if she could get it from her store, but the clerk said that they were prolly already divvyed up. Poor Piper. D:

Ventured to the Lego Store and built impromptu lego cars and raced on the ramp that was there. My car won, naturally. :D

We got hungry, so we did the Panda Feast at Panda Express. Ate rice, mushroom chicken, orange chicken, broccoli beef (YUM!), chow mein, and cream cheese rangoons. I fail at picking up rice with chopsticks. D:

Then we slowly ventured in the direction of Barnes & Noble, but we did not quite make it. By the time we left the food court, the mall was closing up. We had to walk down the escalators, but not before we took Lomo out for a slide between them! :D

When we exited, Piper realized we left behind Lomo's new box, which had some pajamas she bought and Taka's sketchbook with character designs for WAHHH!, our soon-to-be manga. Me and Taka were lame and just stayed on the first level, while Piper and Parkarr ran back up the escalators to the food court. Piper called a bit later and said that it was probably in the Lego Store, so we went to the security station by the exit and asked if someone could open their door. They called the store and they opened the doors for us. Seeing as Piper and Parkarr were already up there, they went in instead of us. The security had a couple of TVs of some surveillance cameras, and they cued up to the front of the store for us to confirm we knew the two crazy people in front of the Lego Store. We saw that when they opened the door, both of them pretty much face planted against the glass. XP

And Parkarr drove me home. END!

Will write a new Blog War Rule tomorrow, after Parkarr and I usher that concert tomorrow. XD

Blog No. 92: Parlo il Tempo in Italiano

Comincio alle dieci e venticinque di notte.

Alle nove di mattina, io practico tiro con mi amici.
At 9 AM, I practice archery with my friends.

The friends being Molly, JT, and Diana. King wasn't there, AGAIN.

JT had to make up the 20-yard line tournament, so he pulled his target forward whilst Molly and I had the 30-yard line targets behind it. It was the second day of my arrows being fixed. One of my arrows decided to be different and got a yellow cock feather instead of a white one. XP

Afterwards, JT and I went to the cafeteria to meet up with people before choir. I also had to get BLAH tea this morning while I was a Stabucks. Why? I don't know. But when we met up with her at the table, I was ordering my next Jamba Juice from her, seeing as she's paying me back. XP

At 10:30, Taka and I are going to sing with the choir.

But first, Taka wanted to turn in a paper to her teacher at Davies Hall. She called me to go along with her, and during our walk she was all, "No I don't want to go to Choir! AUGH!" Then after she turned in her paper, she was all "OK we need to gogogogogogogogo!!!" LOL XP

Choir wasn't bad at all. People weren't stupid this time! XP

Afterward, we played the Denny's/Telephone/Liz's Game with Link, Rachel, Piper, Tom, KT, Parkarr, and Nimzy. JT came along to cause some mayhem as well.

At 2 PM, I played my DS while Parkarr sleeps on my back.

It's pretty much how it sounds. We went outside because we wanted a nap in the sun on the grass. While Taka was downloading the OST for Wicked on my USB drive, (YAY!), she complained that we were all too far apart on the grass. So, Parkarr got up and said, "I'm going to sleep on David's back."

During his nap, my Kirlia evolved into a Gallade and I taught in Night Slash and Leaf Blade. TOTALLY worth it!

At 2:45, we learned vocab dealing with time.

Which is why I'm blogging so weird right now. XP

Tom hitched a seat with us in Italian so that he can be ahead of his Italian class. He pretty much confused Professoressa Martinelli. She thought that Piper was in the MW class with Tom. XP

Professoressa Martinelli was kind of annoyed today, and I wouldn't blame her. A lot of the people were asking off the wall questions when she was trying to teach us how to say it's frikken 3 o'clock!!! Terry did her usual, whaddyasay questions after Martinelli just talked about it.

After a while, Martinelli just said to the class, "Just remember Rule No. 47: It Ain't English." Taka, Piper, Tom, and I literally laughed out loud. It's sad because I think some of the other students didn't get it the joke... XD

Io arrivo a casa alle sei e quarantuno.
I arrive home at 6:41 PM

Almost a full hour after Italian let out! Which I wouldn't blame my mom for, what with her new grandson and daughter in the hospital. XP

I just practiced Spinning Song on the piano for an hour and I got most of the left hand together with the right hand. I still need to work on the waltzy lilt thing with the left hand and the right hand melody for that part. XP

Blog No. 91: It's Official XD



Lennox Maxwell Garcia-Abaya. 9 lbs, 4 oz, 21".

The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived. My sister, Audrey, went in for the appointment for her sessarian and all went well. The baby's head was kind of big, so there was no way it could've been born normally. But he's cute as a button!

...

I wonder where that phrase even came from. "Cute as a button" really doesn't make sense if you think about it. Either way he's cute. XP




That's the father right there.

I was talking with him in the hallway. John and I randomly talked about our time at Rio Tierra, although not at the same time, I think because they saw someone that gave birth that they knew in high school. We remembered the creepy, frog looking history teacher, Ms. Curtis, whom I always thought of as being married to a Professor Snape character. He remembered the super young math teacher, Mr. Phongmany, who I only remembered because he made me like math so much. Apparently he was a "TILF" because all the girls had a crush on him. I remembered the super nice Ms. Jennings, the science teacher, who on my last day before transferring to Charter, asked the class to do a farewell card with a message of good luck for me. She was one of the really nice teachers I'll always remember. I think I still have that paper...

But yeah, I'm getting off subject. XD

It feels so weird. It's one thing to actually talk about it and seeing Audrey actually pregnant, but it's totally a horse of a different color when the baby is physically here. Of the times I picture my sister, I sometimes still imagine the younger, high school Audrey. That Audrey was a very spunky, NSYNC obsessed Audrey. I remember a couple of times when we were younger that she was hanging out with her friends, before the American Idol craze, trying to form an all girl singing group. I also remember the day that I won a poster of NSYNC in elementary school and that, when I knocked on her door to give it to her, she immediately snatched it and shut the door right after a brief scream and a briefer "thank you!" XP

It's hard to see that Audrey now with her own living, breathing child. I can say that she is a little bit less obsessive, but still as dorky, a thousand times more mature, and a zillion times stronger. John was the best thing that ever happened to her. Him and, now, Lennox.
