Fire Can Make a Conscience Clean (Strike the Match We'll See)

There is No Mathematics to Love or Loss---Anberlin

Blog No. 27: Shortest Blog You Will EVER See

Today is just a migraine. An unending wave of pain in my head, with jack hammers and drills carving initials onto my skull. Long story short, my day is ruined by stupid Chemistry homework.

Eat Panda. Then HW.

Goodnight.

With Big Intention Still Posted At Your Station

Headlock---Imogen Heap

THANKS PIPER!

Blog No. 26: Headlock

Really loved that song at the Jazz Choir Concert! *MWAHAHAHA!*

Anyways, I'm letting the chips fall where they are today. Chemistry is going to be something to get used to. Especially with the lab. ESPECIALLY with the lab. And piano was kind of a downer because we don't have a lot of time with Heidi. *frowny face*

I felt really loopy today. No idea why. What with the "Oreo" and the Bacon River College. But I love this atmosphere, so no complaints. Oh yeah, I also named Danny's phone "Bacon" the other day too. I wonder if he still has that sticker on his phone...

Dustin showed me the band Greeeen today, yes spelled correctly. They're a pretty cool band. Would not mind listening to more of it on youtube, you know during an undisposed time... When my mother isn't sleeping behind me.

Then lunch commences. Chicken strips = Bain of evil. No questions asked.

We should all do that idea with the Yellow Loco Rocos! HECK yes! --->If you don't know: Piper or Dustin had this idea of all of us who are going to Fanime to wear yellow shirts with Loco Roco faces on them and go as a group as the Yellow Loco Rocos. We would do stuff, like walk to the corners of the room and after a few seconds run to the center of the room, screaming "NOOOOOOY!" and mesh into one... Somehow. But I also liked that idea of us stacking up like a pyramid and sing the Loco Roco theme song. Of course, we are DEFINITELY not cheerleaders. And Taka and Abril needs to go. So yeah...

I'm currently eating pasta with broccoli in it. I've come to the conclusion that I really love broccoli. I would marry it if California wasn't so dumb. They still need to hop that hurdle in allowing the gays to marry before man can marry vegetable. I will grow old with my broccoli, nonetheless, rocking on that cliched rocking chair on that cliched porch during the cliched montage of aged lovers... But I digress... Or digest... Both works.

My life in a headlock.

You Wouldn't Get This From Any Other Guy

Never Gonna Give You Up---Rick Astley

That's right. I went there. *laughs*

Blog No. 25: Totally a Trendsetter/SAG

So I log onto my blogger just now to find I have one more follower, (shoutout to Abril, "LEAVE MY PINKY ALONE!"), and I can't help but look back to the hopskotching day outside the ARC cafeteria, the birthday cake that could've set off an alarm, and, now, blogger. This is not really intended to heighten my ego, more like I can call more people my friends. I always say it's the small moments, and it's true, at least for me, that makes it worth it. To use religious jargon, I'm happy that I'm blessed with you guys! *tear*

...

I think I got a little too dramatic...

Anyways, SAG. I'm watching the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, which they shortened to SAG. Not SAGA. SAG. Like what skin does when it ages...

RIP Stanley Kamel, that actor who played Monk's psychiatrist. Poor guy. *sad face* ... Oh yeah, and RIP those other guys too...

Did Mariska Hargitay ever win the award for Female Actor in a Drama Series Award? It seems that whenever I watch these awards, Mariska is always nominated, and someone new always gets the award. This time it was that femme from Mad Men, whose name escapes me. I guess it goes to show that she is still really good to be nominated year after year. She is pretty good in Law and Order: SVU though, to those who haven't seen it.

I've come to the conclusion that the REAL Susan Surrandon = Diane Keaton. I just saw the movie with Diane Keaton in it, Mad Money, like a night ago, then heard the REAL Susan Surrandon's voice and I just got a strong vibe of Diane Keaton. No idea why... Might've been the voice. I wonder how she does it though. Wigs and breast implants?

Loved how John Krasinski (Office) and Amy Poehler (SNL) introduced that Drama award. They just pretty much landed it down in 10 seconds. You had to see it. They would recieve +7 Rabbi Points, if they were eligible.

Speakinze which, Susan Surrandon and Taka +4 Rabbi Points.

Your welcome.

But here I've rambled too much. It's getting late and I haven't seen Heath Ledger win yet, so...

Back to SAG. G'night folks + See you tomorrow!

I Won't Go, There's a Fear in Me, it's Not Showin'

It's Not My Time---3 Doors Down

Blog No. 23: Not Quite My Time

So yeah. Came back from the DMV for the driver's test. I guess I'm still under some karma spell or some bad luck raincloud... Either that or bike lanes are out to get me. Long story short, it's not quite my time. Merged into a bike lane full of parked cars and did not look over my shoulder.

That's it.

Sure I would see how I would get marked down because of that, but still, disqualified?

So I went back to reschedule a second test. FULL. "For the next 30 days."

So I called the other DMVs. Roseville, Carmicheal, Folsom, Woodland, South Sac, Davis. Full, full, full, full, full, FULL. "For the next 30 [frikken] days."

Talk about some bad luck...

Meh.

Not worried now. Just have to look more closely at my driving and try calling again Monday.

...

I would think I would be in for some good news. Just not this time, I guess. *sigh*

Carved my Name into His Leather Seats

Before He Cheats---Carrie Underwood. Another Kaylah/David favorite.

Blog No. 22: Anticipation

First off, I would like to mention some issues that may have presented themselves in my last blog. Apparently, some people took offense of my little ficticious dating profile *cough* Felicia *cough* So I'd like to take a brief part of my blog to publicly apologize to those involve...

...

Right...

Anyways. I'm not in so much of a writing mood today. Partly because of the long day, partly because of the looming date floating in my mind. If you've been under a rock for a month, you wouldn't know that the date floating in my mind is tomorrow, and that the significance of tomorrow is that it decides my fate. I am talking about my driver's test. I'm respectably nervous for that, and somewhat confident. Everything is ready, I just need to breathe it all in.

Take a moment to gasp. *breathes in*

*swallows bug accidentally*

*cough*

*cough*

*bloody cough*

*falls over*

*seizure*

*dies*

I'm a Thourough-Bred, That's What She Said

As a shout out to Kaylah: Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)---Big & Rich

Blog No. 21: Dating Profile

Today was plain enough. Saw Susan Surrandon today for Chemistry. The class looks good enough and the teacher is hi-larious. Just need to take the Chemistry assessment test to keep the class and I'm good to go!

Seeing as I don't have much for today, I'm going to do something random. You see, Susan Surrandon told me that she started blogging too along with us, so I looked at her blog and it's basically a photo blog. I looked at the one for Felicia's pix and decided that, seeing as I'm bored enough, I will do Fishie's dating profile for her whenever she gets back onto her feet, both literally and figuratively.

I'm Bringing Sexy Back

Some Justin Timberlake song I believe...

Blog No. 20: First Day of School/InaugurationNation

First day of school. Not so bad.

First I dropped my 7:30 Spanish class in my better judgment. There was no way in hell I would sit through a Spanish class that would teach me the Spanish I already know. I mean I'm doing that with Biology, but I don't mind that because I enjoy languages more than science.

Speaking of Biology, My teacher is hilarious. She has a some Russian-southern accent that flared up every so often. Basically, I had a dilemma of not having the book because the teacher did not order it. She was like "Oh whatever you guys want. It's not really needed anyway, I mean it's not as if I was going to assign you homework or anything!" At first I thought she was joking, but then I saw the syllabus to find that it was true. All we're being graded on is attendance and tests, and she drops one of them anyway. So long as I do well in the tests, I'M SET!

Hopping back to this morning... I was kind of nervous to see whether or not I would be in the archery class, but the teacher was just as awesome as I remember her. *smiles* Plus, I get to take the class with JT, Molly, and King. Totally cool!

Choir is HUGE.

Had lunch.

OH! And I was able to get Taka and Piper to take Italian with me! There was some question of whether they would get in or not, but it was for nothing! It's going to be AWEsome when the three of us start talking to each other in our own language... Which happens to be shared with the people along the Italian peninsula...

So yeah. So far so good!

PS: Laff. Oot. Laowd.

It was totally unintentional, but the lyric-blog title fits for today! What with the webcam in the cafeteria, where Dustin was IMing Taka just as he got out of the shower. It looked liked he was naked because he had no shirt on. So Me, Taka, and Piper did a strip tease to him via webcam! *rolled over from laffing my arsenal off*

Definitely the small moments. *smiles*

And Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow

Don't Stop---Fleetwood Mac

Blog No. 19: How Many People Does it Take to Screw in a Lightbulb?

Just one. *smiles*

Insert sense of accomplishment here.

I was all handy and whatnot with my too large wrench and no know how of automobiles. I got fed up with waiting, so I walked to Kragen Auto Parts and asked for a directional light bulb for my 2004 Chevy Malibu. They walked me though most of it. Totally twisted some knobby thingys and pulled out a panel doodad. Pulled off some bulbs and pushed the new ones in. I totally had some grease on my hands too! *lawl*

So my car is workable now. Just needs a spit shine and it will all be good! I'm excited! Tehe.

And as far as the driver's test, I believe I'll be prepared for it, granted anything doesn't go wrong first. *KNOCKS ON WOOD*

*lawl* Sexual innuendo.

Anywho, I'm going to combine two of my blog ideas together into this one because I've already written about my positive moment today.

Here's my schedule:

Biology TTh 6:00-9:10 PM
Chemistry MW 8:00-9:20 AM (Lec) & 9:45 AM-12:50 PM (Lab)
Italian TTh 2:45-4:50 PM
Piano MW 1:30-2:50 PM
Choir TTh 10:30-11:50 AM
Spanish TTh 7:30-9:35 AM
Archery (Waitlisted)

The idea is that I may replace Spanish with Archery, but I'm not sure. I will consult a counselor tomorrow.

Oy... Tomorrow...

Speak For Yourself, You Paper Tigers

The Resistance---Anberlin

Blog No. 18: Or Not...

This two word phrase can work with many things today.

I could be studying for my chemistry assessment test... Or not.

I could be sleeping in tomorrow... Or not.

My car's right rear blinker light could be working... Or not.

I could be driving my way to a driver's liscence on Friday... Or not.

In other words. It sucks right now.

In other news, I watched the movie The Truman Show, which I've apparently seen before but do not remember in the least bit.

The movie was about how a TV corporation adopts a child, then creates a perfect little world filled with actors and cameras everywhere, watching his every move, keeping him in the bubble to create a TV show of his life. I know that TV really strives for reality, but this is plain barbaric. The movie itself was very good. It centralized on this man, Truman Burbank, played by Jim Carey, as he starts noticing things that seemed out of place. Too sane, too ordinary.

At every turn, there is an intricate web of guards that keep this one man from escaping into the outside world. The TV exec controlled every aspect of his life as he grew up, including whom he would be best friends with and whom he ended up marrying. And the entire world watched this 24-hour show, growing up with his "Good morning and if I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!" life. It really explores the question of if you could create the perfect, painless world, would you sacrifice their free will to put them in it?
